Introducing Jeremy Burns, the rhythm guitarist of Triple C! ๐ถ With a self-taught approach and a distinctive blend of folksy twang and southern rock, Jeremy’s guitar playing forms the backbone of the band’s music. Let’s take a closer look at what makes Jeremy such an essential part of Triple C. ๐ค
๐ A Self-Taught Journey
Jeremy didn’t learn guitar in the typical way. After briefly playing in the Solider's Angels' Operation Harmony program, he’s a self-taught musician, constantly picking up new skills from a variety of sources. Whether it’s watching instructional videos, jamming with friends, or playing in open sessions, Jeremy has honed his craft through experience. ๐ธ “I’ve learned from all kinds of experiences, whether it’s playing covers of my favorite songs or trying out new techniques,” he says.
๐ธ The Gear Behind the Groove
Jeremy’s weapon of choice is his Fender Sonoran. ๐ถ Paired with a heavier set of strings, it delivers a unique blend of folksy twang and southern rock that shapes the rhythm of Triple C’s sound. “The Sonoran’s distinctive tone, along with the heavier strings, creates the perfect mix of down-home feel and a rock edge,” Jeremy explains. ๐ค๐ธ
๐ถ Favorite Song to Play
One of Jeremy’s favorite songs to play is the classic "Folsom Prison" by Johnny Cash. ๐ต It’s a song that fits perfectly with his southern rock vibe and rhythmic style. ๐ฅ
